Setting up Kixzo to receive faxes is simple. After installing the program, make sure that you turn off any other programs that might be using the fax port such as Microsoft fax. To turn off Microsoft fax or another program, please consult your owners manual.
Kixzo uses a faxing system called Faxman that only operates if you have an opened port for Faxman to utilize. If this port is being used by another system, Faxman will not operate. Therefore it is essential that you turn off these other systems in order to free up that port.
