Operating system

: Windows Vista or XP. We have not tested on earlier operating systems or MAC’s. 1 GB RAM preferred. We have several laptops with 1GB RAM and some desktops with 4 GB RAM. Centrino or better for the computer that will contain the database. We have one desktop pc

Hard Drive:

consider:

Are you keeping documents? If so what type, i.e JPEG, BMP, PDF, etc.. We recommend scanning as

searchable PDF at 300 ppi. The “average” file size is 200-300 kb, however this is highly dependent upon

the number of pages and information written on those page.

Are you keeping other program files such as CAD, Quickbooks etc… These file types will vary

dramatically so it is not possible to give an accurate assessment.

In our offices, our database computer has 750GB of storage. Our backup storage device has 500GB. We

Depends upon how your office is configured. We keep it simple in our office and

RAM:

However 1 GB works well.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATING

KIXZO

Processor:

that is a Quad-core processor with 2.4 GHZ that we use to store the database, i.e our “server” however

this type of processor is not required. A dual core is ideal, but a Centrino will work. Generally the faster

the processor the better.

Generally the faster RAM and processor speed the better. Listed below is what we have in our offices.
