Unable to connect to the database? Database verification failed

A common problem users have faced in getting started with Kixzo is connecting to the database.  A common problem is the firewall is blocking access.  Follow the steps below for the solution

1.  Go to the control Panel on the machine where the firebird database is installed.

2.  Select the START button>ALL PROGRAMS>CONTROL PANEL

3.  Select FIREWALL

4.  Go to the Exception tab in the display window

5.  Click ADD PORT

6.  for the NAME type in Firebird.  For the Port Number type in 3050.  Select TCP.

7.  Click OK

8.  Your done.  Now restart Kixzo and connect, but make sure the pathway is correct.
