SYMPTOMS: When installing KIXZO you receive a message saying:
Unable to execute file
C:\Program Files\KIXZO Database Version\1.0.4.1\ifilter60.exe
CreateProcess failed: code 740
The requested operation requires elevation
CAUSE: ifilter did not install properly during the installation of KIXZO. Occasionally this error occurs during the installation of KIXZO on VISTA machines
MORE INFORMATION/FIX: Despite the error received during the installation, KIXZO did install on your system. The ifilter component is used to assist KIXZO search within the contents of searchable PDF files. To install the ifilter manually, log into KIXZO as the ADMINISTRATOR (the default setting is ADMINISTRATOR for both userid and password). After logging into KIXZO
Go to: HELP (the word HELP located at the upper right hand side upon logging into KIXZO) >> ADDONS >> iFILTER
After clicking on iFILTER, this component will install.
